The schedule is out and the first game of the year features the Boston Bruins. Ok, it really features the crappy defending Stanely Cup champs, but Boston will play in the game. I put my early money on Glen Murray for first goal of the 03/04 NHL season.
As for the Rangers, they start with two games on the road, followed by six home games. I haven't done any of the figuring, but for some reason I'd wager that the Rangers will have played six more games than everyone else by early December and will have to battle uphill in the spring.
