Yokels

You may not know it, but tomorrow marks an important day, especially if you're Iranian. It was on July 9th four years ago that a student uprising occurred "that has now matured and has begun to shake the foundations of the Islamic regime." Think Tiananmen Square, but with more staying power. To mark that event Andrew Sullivan suggested a while back that bloggers around the Internet devote some comments and links during this week to the cause of freedom in Iran. It seems many have already taken up the cause, so if you care to know what's going on in Iran, click, click and click to your hearts content. There are signs of promise, though there is a long way to go.
