Patrice Bergeron's ascent from second round pick to second line center in less than three months has been nothing short of amazing. Just ask his friends.
"It's just crazy," said Bergeron, the friendly, polite 18-year-old who is among the top rookie scorers in the NHL. "I talk to my friends on the phone and they're like, 'What are you doing?' and I'm like, 'I'm going to L.A.' Then I ask, 'What about you?' and they say, 'Oh, I have a math test tomorrow.' I think it's kind of funny."
