Yokels

I recently received an email from the good folks at DoubleClick inviting me to a party for ex-employees. It's the second annual one of these things they've held. Apparently, they feel like it's a good idea to feed beer and munchies to people they fired or people who quit because they fired all of their friends and made them work six times as hard for no extra money. It's signed by each of the executives, those who somehow maintained their jobs despite a lack of vision, a fall in stock price, and a complete breakdown of half of their divisions.

Needless to say, the most disturbing aspect of all of this is that I have no idea how they got my email address.
