I've never heard anyone get upset to hear that basketball was invented by a Canadian. But so you know, he was a McGill student.

It's even on the list of reasons McGill is better than Queens:

#1: Name comes first on shared publishing house
#2: Something about rowing
#3: Alumni are better at inventing sports
#4: Name does not refer to Queens
#5: The hockey coach is not a whiner
