Yokels

I asked the Joy Rodd what she wanted to do this weekend. She answered in three separate e-mails.

tonight we will make our own instruments and play spyro gyra tunes.
then we will cook and eat some root vegetables which are in season now.
and then we will hope for an early spring with rain and learn kung fu.
that is all.

tomorrow night we will be glad we are not yet 60 years old.
we will watch stuart get his groove on if we are lucky.
if we are not lucky i will get my groove on.
we will then drink blood and howl at the moon and be grateful.

sunday we will throw away our electronics.
then we will blindfold ourselves and wander around the apartment.
we will eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
after we take the blindfolds off we will draw each other and draw on each other.


Sometimes I worry about her.
